Job summary

IKEA in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia is seeking an Interior Design Specialist I to translate customers’ needs into innovative furnishing solutions and drive demand across our commercial offerings.

The role collaborates with colleagues across functions and with other IKEA businesses to ensure a cohesive consumer experience across touchpoints, and it supports national and international projects within the IKEA network.

• Execute work of interior design furnishing solutions to stimulate customer demand.
• Translate people’s needs into relevant commercial furnishing solutions in alignment with standard practices.

• Execute work of interior design furnishing solutions to stimulate customer demand.


• Execute standard practices and procedures to translate people’s needs into relevant commercial furnishing solutions.


• Engage with co-workers and relevant stakeholders in development of learning content using local market relevance.


• Work across functions within Ingka Group and in good collaboration with other IKEA businesses to secure a strong and aligned consumer experience across touchpoints.


• Support national and/or global projects.
