Job summary

Sephora Canada is seeking an Interim Store Director to oversee client experience, sales, and operations at the Brantford location. You will lead a high-performing team, manage merchandising, budgeting, and human resources, while ensuring Sephora concepts and profitability.

You bring 5+ years of senior management in beauty or retail, a proven coaching track record, and strong communication skills. This fixed-term role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the overall client service experience, people development, sales, productivity, merchandising, operations, and human resource functions of your store.
• Forecast sales and payroll with your District Manager to drive store results.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales results and communicate with staff members.
• Achieve store’s sales plans and operating profits while maintainingexpenses.
• Develop strategies to growbusiness,leveragingthe customer loyalty program, events, product knowledge, and services.
• Recruit, interview, and hire for all positions according to business needs.
• Train, coach, delegate to supervise, and motivate department Managers and Leads to develop their leadership and business skills.
• Ensure a coaching culture is present that includestimelyacknowledgement of successes, and feedback on opportunities. Both through day-to-day coaching and through quarterly development meetings.
• Conduct inventories,maintainupdated inventory records, and communicate inventory issues/concerns to key stakeholders.
• Make strategic and innovative merchandising decisions by Sephora’sconceptswhen necessary, to grow the business.

As the next InterimStore Director at Sephora, you will oversee and manage the overall client service experience, people development, sales, productivity, merchandising, operations, and human resource functions of your store. Our Store directors ensure adherence to the Sephora concepts and culture, ensuring maximum profitability and compliance with Sephora’sobjectivesand policies. Reporting to the DistrictManagerthe Store Director’steamcan include our Talent & Business Operations Managers, Client Experience Managers, and Beauty Services Managers.Our interim roles are fixed contract positions, that have a definitive end date. Whatyou’llbe doing as anInterimStore Director at Sephora –

Store Budget & Business Results.

Forecast sales and payroll with your District Manager to drive store results.

You havea minimum of5+ years of senior management experience in the beauty, retail, or customer service industry.

You have a proventrack recordof coaching a high-performing team and have a passion for training, development, and education.

You havepreviousexperience recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions, including leadership.

You are effective in time management, problem-solving, and communication both verbal and written. With experience in Windows, Word, and Excel.

You have no difficultymaintainingcomposure and possess strong managerial courage to have tough conversations when needed.

You have strong business acumen and the ability to analyze sales trends and react appropriately, with a proventrack recordof meeting or achieving targets or KPIs.

Location, Availability, and Physical Requirements-

On-site: You willwork at the location specified in the job posting.

Scheduling: Flexibility is key! We need you to be available during evenings, weekends, and holidays when our clients are eager to shop and explore.

Physical Requirements:Our stores are a fragrance-filled environment. You must be ableto bend and stretch to stock shelves, as well as lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

The compensation ranges betweenCAD$82,200.00 - CAD$102,700.00. In addition, you may be eligible for performance-based bonus opportunities, a competitive benefits program, and robust learning and development initiatives aimed at promoting employee support and recognition. The final pay offered will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the actual qualifications and experience of the individual, and any additional non-discriminatory, legitimate business factors relevant to the position and/or location.
