Interim Revenue Ops Accounting Consultant

Our client, a leading global software company, is looking for a Interim Revenue Ops Accounting Consultant to join their Revenue team. This high-impact role will focus on supporting revenue operations and assurance during a key team member’s paternity leave. The successful candidate will contribute to revenue recognition, compliance, and cross-functional initiatives involving new product launches and automation. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while working within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 for enterprise SaaS contracts
• Assist in technical accounting assessments for complex pricing, packaging, and contract terms
• Lead or contribute to process improvements in revenue workflows and reporting
• Perform hands-on revenue close activities, reconciliations, and analytics
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams on new product initiatives
• Use internal tools such as JIRA, Slack, and Salesforce to drive communication and project tracking

Requirements

• 5+ years of revenue accounting experience in SaaS, AI, or enterprise software
• Deep understanding of ASC 606 and subscription/consumption-based revenue models
• Experience with RevPro, Oracle ERP, Salesforce, and advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment

Compensation:
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $80 - $100 per hour. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
