About the Interim Executive Director Role

Rooted Connections is seeking an Interim Executive Director for a 12-month term (with possibility of extension depending on organizational needs) to serve as the strategic and operational leader of the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to guide Rooted Connections through a period of transition and growth, advancing our mission of fostering healing, stability, and wholeness in the lives of individuals and families.

As Interim Executive Director, you will provide visionary leadership that connects programs, people, and purpose—aligning internal operations, strengthening partnerships, and championing the values of equity, quality, and accessibility. You’ll be the public face of the organization: a collaborator, steward, and advocate who inspires trust and fosters meaningful community engagement.

This role is ideal for someone who brings a blend of strategic insight and deep empathy, with a passion for impactful service and a strong track record of leading teams through organizational evolution.

  • Serve as the primary spokesperson and advocate, raising awareness and visibility.

Experience and Education
