Job description

Foothills Country Hospice Society (FCHS) is seeking a seasoned and compassionate Interim Executive Director to lead our organization through a pivotal period of transition.

This contract role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families facing end-of-life care.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered hospice care. The successful candidate will bring proven experience in executive leadership - ideally within healthcare, palliative care, or the non-profit sector - and demonstrate strong financial acumen, team-building skills, and a deep commitment to community engagement.

Key responsibilities include:
