Job summary

ACE Liquor Discounter in Calgary is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations and help lead a high-performing store team. You’ll coach staff, assist with recruitment and onboarding, and work with the Store Manager on staffing and sales goals while ensuring compliance with Alberta liquor regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• ProServe certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for most of the shift.
• Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of Alberta liquor regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support store staff with coaching and training.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing duties.
