Job summary

The University of Ottawa, at its Main Campus, is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Études interdisciplinaires en Arts (AHL2500) in the Faculty of Arts. The appointment begins for the 2027 Winter Semester, with a course schedule including Monday 19:00–21:00 in person.

Doctoral degree is required, with proven success teaching university-level courses in interdisciplinary studies, and a strong research/publication background.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree required.
• Successful track record in university teaching of interdisciplinary studies.
• Ability to teach courses across at least two disciplinary perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Teach the interdisciplinary arts course AHL2500 as scheduled.
• Engage students in analysis and discussion of contemporary issues.
• Contribute to curriculum development and assessment for the course.
