Job summary

SOGECLAIR is seeking an aeronautical engineer for its Mont-Royal site to develop concepts and cabin layouts, and to oversee design development and technical transfers. The role emphasizes collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Ideal candidates bring a DEC in aeronautical engineering and at least 1 year of experience, with strong CATIA V5 and MS Office skills, plus fluency in French or English.

Qualifications

  • At least 12 months of experience in aeronautics or related field.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 and Microsoft Office.
  • Spoken and written French or English.

THE TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

  • Develop concepts and provide presentations for aeronautical projects required by clients.
  • Prepare cabin and monument layout plans and their technical specifications.
  • Participate in conceptual and design process meetings to establish all project development phases.
  • Supervise technical development and transfer skills to junior engineers in the company.
  • Supervise the modification, validation, and revision phases of aeronautical projects.
  • Develop quality procedures, usage instructions, maintenance schedules, and reports for clients and users.

Job conditions:

  • 40h / week (Full-time/permanent).
  • Fixed schedule, day shift.
Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • DEC in aeronautical engineering or any related field.
    • At least 12 months of experience in aeronautics or any related field.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
    • Proficiency in CATIA V5 software for 3D design and modeling.
    • Excellent team working and communication skills.
