Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a focal point between Bombardier multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers
  • Prepare engineering packages and certification documents to ensure compliance with regulations (Transport Canada, FAA, etc.)
  • Support suppliers in understanding and following Bombardier processes
  • Identify and propose opportunities for product and process improvements
  • Review customer aircraft specifications for accuracy
  • Communicate potential technical issues effectively with the team and management
  • Participate in engineering meetings and support design change proposals
  • Assess build or installation issues during aircraft production and propose solutions
  • Analyze and communicate impacts of PCR and CO changes with suppliers and teams
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues and management
How to thrive in this role?
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in aircraft interiors and secondary structure
  • Proficiency with Catia V5 (Part, assembly, and drawing)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and Enovia V5
  • Experience in machining, manufacturing, and assembly of aircraft components
