A financial services firm in Toronto is seeking a Data Analyst to implement a Data Strategy Roadmap. You will centralize data and enhance reporting for executive leadership using visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience with JIRA and Confluence, and strong stakeholder interaction skills. This hybrid role offers potential for long-term engagement.
Interview Process: 1 round of interviews
Work Location: Hybrid- 2 days a week- will be moving to 4 days a week Nov 3rd.

Any relevant certs are nice to have (analyst certs) but not required
Years of experience: 5 to 7 years
Reason for request/why opened: Execution of a strategy – data strategy, helping to build the framework
% Interaction with Stakeholders: 10 to 20 % - may need to work with stakeholders as the build out the framework.
Team Size: change mgmt team- 18 people. – supporting a side project

Working w/ stakeholders to build dashboards within Jira, Power BI.
Previous exp working w/ a bank.

Our change practitioners integrate multiple partner groups, businesses, communications, and learning/training to deliver seamlessly against business strategy. The successful candidate will have strong database and data visualization tool skills, be comfortable in a complex and fast-paced environment, and able to navigate ambiguity.
Summary of duties:
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for enabling the successful implementation of a Data Strategy Roadmap that will lead to enhanced Change Management reporting and data-driven insights for executive leadership. Your efforts will focus on centralizing data from multiple sources into a master database that will enable reporting through data visualization tools.
Job Requirements:
Technical Skills (5-7 years of experience):
• JIRA: Proficient in JQL (JIRA Query Language)
• Confluence: Experience with Confi Forms and Confluence Macros
• Power BI and/or Tableau: Strong skills
