Job description

Reporting to the Team Leader, Casualty, this role involves investigating and settling senior-level third-party bodily injury and casualty claims, including Automobile, Homeowners, and Commercial third-party claims. The position supports the casualty teams in Atlantic and requires a NB license.

What can you expect in this role?

• Investigate claims to determine liability and quantum
• Confirm policy coverage
• Maintain detailed file records on an electronic claims system
• Attend/participate in mediations, pre-trials, and settlement initiatives as a representative of Economical Insurance
• Settle claims directly with injured parties and plaintiff lawyers

What do you bring to the role?

• University degree, college diploma, or CIP designation
• Minimum 3 years of claims handling experience in Bodily Injury/Casualty Litigation
• Experience handling Commercial General Liability Claims, including Bodily Injury and Property Damage
• Professional, friendly, and courteous in all interactions

Salary range is $50,200 - $92,500.
