Job description

We’re seeking an experienced and strategic insurance marketing professional to join a high-performing team within a well-established and growth-focused brokerage. This hybrid position offers a mix of leadership and hands-on marketing work focused on complex commercial risks. You’ll oversee a capable team of marketers, contribute to the success of national-level practice groups, and work closely with senior leadership to drive performance and continuous improvement.

If you’re a seasoned marketer with a passion for coaching others and handling large commercial accounts, this role could be the next step in your career.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 4–5 experienced marketers, managing workflow and mentoring team members.
  • Handle marketing and placement of complex commercial risks, typically $30K+ in revenue.
  • Collaborate with account teams and practice groups generating multi-million dollar portfolios.
  • Educate and guide the marketing team on technical risks and placement strategies.
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing on process improvements and team development.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of marketing experience in commercial lines insurance
  • Previous leadership, management, or mentorship experience (inside or outside the insurance industry).
  • RIBO license preferred; Level 1 BC license accepted with willingness to obtain RIBO.
  • Strong understanding of insurer relationships, underwriting, and commercial policy placement.
  • Confident communicator with an ability to coach, guide, and problem-solve.
