Salary: Up to $70K

Key Responsibilities

• Provide coverage and administrative support across various insurance defence teams, adapting to different workflows.
• Draft, edit, and format legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, and correspondence.
• Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate court deadlines across multiple files.
• Liaise with clients, court officials, and opposing counsel on behalf of various lawyers.
• Maintain electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring accuracy and organization.
• Assist with document production, e-filing, and preparation for discoveries and mediations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in insurance defence litigation.
• Ability to adapt to different teams and working styles while maintaining efficiency.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and legal document management systems.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities in a deadline-driven environment.
• A positive and flexible attitude with a commitment to supporting various teams seamlessly.
