Job summary

Allstate Canada Group is seeking a data scientist to own end-to-end predictive modeling across LTV, pricing and profitability within the insurance ecosystem. You will work with stakeholders across Product, Pricing, Marketing, Claims and Finance to translate business challenges into scalable analytics.

You will build and deploy ML models using Azure Machine Learning and Microsoft Fabric, monitor performance, ensure governance, and clearly communicate insights to leadership while driving

Qualifications

• Experience in machine learning and analytics within professional services or similar environment.
• Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning and statistical models in data-intensive industries.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL, with hands-on ML libraries.
• Experience with Azure Machine Learning, Microsoft Fabric, cloud-based analytics platforms, and production model deployment workflows.
• Strong understanding of data preparation, feature engineering, model validation, experimentation, and performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain analytical concepts to business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development, deployment, and monitoring of predictive models supporting LTV, Loss Cost, pricing, retention, and profitability initiatives within the insurance business.
• Translate complex business problems into scalable analytical solutions by partnering with Stakeholders across Product, Pricing, Marketing, Claims, and Finance.
• Develop, validate, and maintain advanced ML, statistical models with strong performance, interpretability, and business value.
• Deploy and operationalize models using Azure Machine Learning, Microsoft Fabric, and modern MLOps practices.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide thought leadership on customer value, risk, profitability, and growth opportunities through analytics.
