What is the opportunity? We are looking for self-motivated, highly driven, and entrepreneurial individuals to join our Field Sales team at RBC Insurance. As an accredited Life & Wealth Advisor (HLLQP / LLQP), you will provide integrated life insurance planning and advice to your existing network of referrals and new RBC client acquisitions. Your drive to understand the full suite of RBC Insurance Life, Whole Life, Living Benefits, & Wealth products enables you to offer valuable solutions tailored to your clients' needs. You will be supported by internal partners who assist in deepening client relationships through effective opportunity spotting and honest sales practices.

What will you do?
  1. Connect with clients through discovery to understand their life events and offer comprehensive insurance and financial advice that aligns with their current and changing needs.
  2. Promote a client-first mindset in a digital environment by meeting clients at their convenience.
  3. Develop and deepen client relationships using Salesforce and other compliant customer tools/electronic forms.
  4. Contribute to and be accountable for your team’s sales success through achieving your individual sales goals.
  5. Expand your external network by leveraging market opportunities and referrals from approved centers of influence.
  6. Regularly review your business results and adjust activities to meet targets.
  7. Deliver on RBC’s vision to be among the world’s most trusted and successful financial institutions.
What do you need to succeed? Must have
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Business development and prospecting skills with a goal-oriented attitude and strong ambition to succeed.
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Life / A&S License (HLLQP / LLQP), or willingness to complete before the start date.
  • 1-2+ years’ professional sales experience in the Insurance Industry.
  • An existing network of referrals and approved centers of influence.
  • Digital literacy using various systems and tools.
Nice to have
  • Fluent in English and other languages.
  • Industry Designations Preferred: CFP, CLU, CHS.

The expected fixed compensation (draw) is $35,000 - $50,000, depending on experience, skills, market conditions, and business needs. Future draws will be based on sales performance. The position may also include discretionary/variable incentives.
