Requirements

• Level 1 General Insurance License
• 1-2+ year experience in auto insurance
• Client service focused with exceptional communication skills
• Excellent insurance product knowledge

A Day in the Life

• Committed to providing an exceptional client experience by being connected to HUB International Insurance Brokers in the bigger picture; understanding the vision, mission, and goals while effecting HUB values in our day to day operation.

• Providing ICBC and private auto coverage advice and sales to clients – new, renewals, changes, cancellations - servicing our dealerships and supporting in the office and in a call-center environment when required.

• Adherence to ICBC and private auto production budgets, timelines, policies, procedures and workflows.

• Interpreting and ensuring that insurer and BC Insurance Council rules and regulations are followed including compliance with inventory, along with handling of funds and documents.

• Handling customer enquiries and complaints appropriately.

• Commitment to sales culture by identifying new business opportunities (cross-selling) of other HUB market offerings.

• Commitment to personal growth and professional development to enhance skills, abilities and performance.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 to $50,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
