InsureLine Brokers (Alder) Inc in Surrey, BC is seeking a motivated General Insurance Advisor to provide expert advice on personal lines, including Auto (ICBC), Home, Travel, and RV insurance, and to help clients protect what matters most.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 2 General Insurance License in British Columbia, has at least two years of experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and can work independently or as part of a collaborative, high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 General Insurance License BC is required.
• Minimum 2 years of insurance experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Proficiency with EPIC and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice on personal lines products, including Auto (ICBC), Home, Travel, and RV Insurance.
• Manage new business, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
• Explain policy coverages, exclusions, and options clearly.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Process insurance transactions per company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support retention.
• Stay current with product knowledge, industry trends, and regulatory updates.

Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused General Insurance Advisor to join our growing team in Surrey, BC. The successful candidate will provide expert insurance advice, deliver exceptional customer service, and help clients protect what matters most through personalized insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Recreational Vehicle Insurance
• Manage new business, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities that align with clients' needs.
• Explain policy coverages, exclusions, and options in a clear and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Process insurance transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support customer retention.
• Stay current with product knowledge, industry trends, and regulatory updates.

Qualifications Required

• Level 2 General Insurance License in British Columbia.
• Minimum 2 year of insurance experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with computer systems, EPIC and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience with ICBC insurance transactions.
• Preferred Level 2 Agent but will consider experienced Level 1
• Experience working in a brokerage environment.
• Demonstrated success in sales and client relationship management.
