We are currently hiring a Insurance Advisor or Senior Insurance Advisor based in our Burnaby location.

What you bring
At least 1 year of general insurance experience, including one year selling homeowners insurance.
Level 1 or 2 Insurance license.
Completion of Autoplan Essentials.
A limited history of Errors & Omissions and in good standing with the Insurance Council of BC.
Comfortable using technology, including basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Bonus qualifications: CAIB certification, experience with ICBC systems, and multilingual abilities beyond English.
What a typical day looks like
Independently issue BCAA insurance products and services, helping customers secure or renew policies by reviewing coverage and making recommendations.
Collaborate with Support Teams and Underwriting to assess and recommend appropriate coverage.
Achieve sales and productivity goals while maintaining BCAA and AAA/CAA experience standards and underwriting guidelines.
Manage customer accounts and documentation, including payments, policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
Enhance your industry knowledge through training, maintaining licensing, and staying updated on industry developments, with opportunities for leadership roles.
The salary range for an Insurance Advisor is $45,406.32 to $56,757.84, and for a Senior Insurance Advisor is $49,954.92 to $62,443.68, determined by experience, skills, certifications, and market factors. Both roles include benefits, a performance bonus (target 12.5%, up to 21.5%), and other incentives.
