Commercial Insurance Advisor – Brooks (Hybrid)

What Your Day Might Look Like

  • Client Advisory & Support: Deliver tailored commercial insurance solutions to small and mid-sized business clients across various industries via phone, email, and in-person consultations.
  • Policy Servicing & Stewardship: Manage policy renewals, endorsements, and certificates of insurance with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring compliance and client satisfaction.
  • Risk Assessment & Coverage Optimization: Collaborate with underwriters and account executives to assess client risk profiles and recommend appropriate coverage enhancements.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with commercial clients, acting as a reliable point of contact for ongoing service and support.
  • Operational Excellence: Support producers and senior advisors with quoting, documentation, and administrative tasks using systems such as EPIC and insurer portals.
  • Business Development Support: Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and renewal strategies to help grow and retain commercial accounts.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Licensing & Knowledge: General Level 1 Insurance License (Level 2 or 3 preferred); strong understanding of commercial insurance products and markets.
  • Client-Focused Mindset: A proactive, service-oriented approach with a passion for helping businesses protect their assets and operations.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and follow through on client needs.
  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable navigating multiple systems and tools; experience with EPIC and insurer portals is a strong asset.
  • Team Player: Collaborative spirit with the ability to support producers, underwriters, and other internal stakeholders effectively.

Hours: 35 hours per week

Location: Brooks, AB (Hybrid)

Compensation Range: $55,000 - $75,000
