About the Role

Our commercial property and casualty insurance brokerage partners help protect corporations and nonprofits across Canada from both minor surprises and major crises. Our leaders foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes exceptional client service.

The Alberta Commercial Lines Division is seeking an Account/Client Manager to engage with clients daily and develop strong relationships with clients and carrier representatives.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist a producer in preparing applications, specifications, and marketing strategies for new business and renewals.
  • Provide professional customer service via phone, email, and walk-ins, addressing inquiries about coverage, billing, claims, audits, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth through cross-selling, upselling, and generating referrals.
  • Maintain positive, long-term relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal staff.
What You Bring
  • Alberta General License in good standing.
  • Over 3 years of industry experience, preferably in broking or underwriting.
  • Experience with Mid-Market Risks, especially accounts with premiums over $25,000.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Client-focused attitude with strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and sound decision-making skills.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and technology.
  • Extensive relationships with insurance carriers.
  • Proficiency in computer skills; EPIC experience is an asset.
