A leading global consulting firm is seeking an Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson for an offshore role in Newfoundland and Labrador. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing control devices in challenging environments. Candidates must have Journeyperson Certification and relevant experience, preferably offshore. This casual role requires readiness for call-outs and adherence to strict safety protocols.

Wood is currently accepting applications for Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson - Adhoc personnel with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry. This role will be located offshore Newfoundland and Labrador. This will be a casual call-out role. The successful candidate will be willing and eligible to travel offshore via helicopter or supply vessel.
As an Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, testing, adjusting, and repairing measuring and control devices (electric, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic). You will need to read, understand, and follow drawings and specifications, using power, pneumatic, electronic, and hand tools. You will work in confined spaces, at heights, and in noisy conditions, both indoors and outdoors, often at extreme temperatures.
