The location in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan , Canada , is seeking talent to fill the position of Co-op Intrumentation Technician. This job is Temporary Full-time.

Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp is seeking to fill a vacancy in the Electrical and Instrumentation department. The Co-op Instrumentation Technician (E/I) works as part of a team which maintains, troubleshoots, and optimizes the electrical and instrumentation and control systems in the mill.

Qualifications:

1) Students currently enrolled in Intrumentation Technician at a post secondary school.

Responsibilities:

·Perform routine planned predictive and corrective E/I maintenance.

·Plan E/I maintenance in conjunction with Supply Chain and Operations personnel.

·Investigate E/I technologies with vendors.

·Troubleshoot, with other mill personnel, operational and maintenance issues.

·Optimize process control in conjunction with Operations and Technical personnel to enhance mill operation.

·Develop and implement reliability integrity strategies for E/I equipment.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

·Safety Systems and Safety Interlocks.

·PLC and Distributed Control Systems experience.

·Process Control

·High Voltage

·Analytical Instrumentation

·SAP or other enterprise business software

·Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work in a team environment.

Preference will be given to qualified local and regional Saskatchewan applicants.
