Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University.
• 7+ years project engineering experience; mining experience would be an asset.
• Experience in instrumentation, control and automation design/consultancy within large engineering projects.
• Registered as a professional engineer with EGBC (Engineers and Geoscientists BC).
• Demonstrated hands-on site experience and ability to work independently.
• Ability to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support through all phases of a project.
• Coordinate engineering work with project scope, schedule and procedures.
• Review shop drawings to ensure conformity with engineering designs.
• Monitor fabrication and construction to ensure compliance with designs.
• Witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Prepare draft monthly engineering progress reports.
• Provide reviews, support, and mentorship to junior engineers.
