Our courses are taught on two campuses (Nanaimo and Cowichan) as well as online. SWAG is committed to critical pedagogies drawing on intersectional feminism, queer and trans theory, critical race theory, Indigenous critical theory, and post-colonial theory to understand both history and present day. By understanding and practicing relationality, empowerment, activism, resistance, and decolonization we work towards a more just future for all.
