Job Responsibilities

Casual instructors are hired by the Department of Arts & Sciences to teach courses in times of high demand. As a casual instructor, you will be assigned full responsibilities for courses assigned to you (i.e., preparing lessons, evaluating student progress, communicating with students and programs, etc.) over the course of the semester(s). Casual instruction in the Department of Arts & Sciences is not substitute teaching.
