Title of Course: Programming for Interactive Media

Compensation

Effective September 1, 2024 - $7,471.08 per half course (195 hours nominally)
Effective September 1, 2024 - $14,942.17 per full course (390 hours nominally)
Please note: Instructors employed in a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.

Duties

Duties and responsibilities will be in accordance with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement. These include scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking, grading, and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Game Development, Interactive Media, or a related discipline;
  • Minimum 3 years experience working with the Unity game engine;
  • Familiarity with the C# programming language;
  • Experience in the games or interactive media industries (e.g., a shipped game or app) is an asset.
