Position: Course Instructor - Foundations of Interactive Arts and Science
Compensation
  • Effective September 1, 2024 - $7,471.08 per half course (195 hours)
  • Effective September 1, 2024 - $14,942.17 per full course (390 hours)

Please note: Instructors with a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.

Duties

Responsibilities include scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultations, grading, and course administration, in accordance with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement.

Qualifications
  • Graduate degree (PhD preferred) in Humanities or Social Sciences discipline
  • Demonstrated teaching excellence in interactive digital media
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Experience working with Teaching Assistants and Learning Management Systems
