Brock University is hiring a part-time instructor for the course ENGL 3P32: British Romanticism II. The position requires a PhD in English Literature or near completion, along with successful teaching experience and competency in the subject matter. British Romanticism II
Effective September 1, 2024 - $7,471.08 per half course (195 hours nominally)
Effective September 1, 2024 - $14,942.17 per full course (390 hours nominally)
Please note: Instructors with a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.
Responsibilities align with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement. Duties include scheduled contact time, preparation, student consultation, grading, course administration, and creating a course syllabus for approval by the Department Chair.

Positions depend on course enrolments and budget approval. Applicants must not exceed maximum weekly hours per the Employment Standards Act unless prior approval is obtained.
