ILAC International College is seeking an experienced web development professional to teach an Advanced Web Programming course. The instructor will guide students through full-stack development using Vue.js on the front end and Node.js/Express.js on the back end, with MySQL for data persistence.

The role includes lectures, labs, and a capstone project, with assessment and feedback to help students build enterprise-grade applications in a collaborative, Agile-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in full-stack web development or software engineering.
• Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with Vue.js, Node.js, Express.js, RESTful APIs, MySQL, and Git.

Responsibilities

Contract Instructor – Advanced Web Programming

ILAC International College is seeking an experienced web development professional to teach our Advanced Web Programming course. We are looking for an instructor who is passionate about modern web technologies and enjoys helping students build full-stack web applications using today's leading development frameworks and tools.

This course builds on students' foundational web programming knowledge and focuses on the development of enterprise-level web applications. Students learn to develop modern front-end applications using Vue.js, build server-side applications with Node.js and Express, integrate relational databases, and create secure, API-driven web applications through extensive hands-on projects.

Position Details

• Course: Advanced Web Programming
• Schedule: Wednesdays, 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• Location: Toronto Campus
• Employment Type: Contract
• Compensation: $45.00 per hour

What You’ll Teach

This project-based course prepares students to design, develop, and deploy modern full-stack web applications. Through a combination of lectures, coding labs, and a capstone project, students strengthen their front-end and back-end development skills while gaining practical experience with client-server architecture, RESTful APIs, authentication, and database integration.
