The Ontario Police College (OPC) seeks a Senior/Specialized Training Instructor to deliver forensic identification training to police officers. This temporary appointment covers up to three years and focuses on developing standards and lesson plans for the Forensic Identification Officer course, a high-demand, mandatory program under provincial regulations.

Consider this unique and rewarding opportunity to join OPC as a Senior/Specialized training Instructor, where you will deliver training specific to police officers in the area of Forensic Identification.
The new Instructors will be responsible for the development of training standards and lesson plans for the Forensic Identification Officer course which provides new forensic identification officers with the critical knowledge, skills and attitudes required to conduct investigations of volume crimes. This course is in high demand from police services and is mandatory training under s. 29 of O. Reg. 87/24 – Training under the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019.
