KPMG’s Business School (KBS) Audit is committed to building the Audit professionals’ knowledge and skills to maintain and uphold audit quality in client work. We support their professional development through high-quality, interactive web-based and instructor-led training. We are currently looking for an eager Learning Designer to join our team, with strong opportunities for further career development to support the development of web-based learning.

What You Will Do
  1. Map technical course material (facilitator guides, slide decks, and exercise materials) and apply instructional design principles to produce cohesive and effective courses (web-based and instructor-led) with measurable outcomes on technical audit and accounting topics, using rapid development tools.
  2. Manage the development of courses, ensuring timelines are met and resources are appropriately utilized.
  3. Develop and maintain training-related forms, job aids, and materials.
  4. Engage with clients, Subject Matter Experts, and other stakeholders to ensure content and delivery align with business goals and learner needs.
  5. Test the effectiveness of courses on the learning management system and document findings.
  6. Maintain project documentation and course folders.
  7. Serve as a technical resource for internally developed and presented programs.

At times, business needs may require working beyond normal hours. Our approach to flexibility supports work-life balance, allowing for adjustments as needed.

What You Bring To The Role
  • Post-secondary Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience in Instructional Design and Adult learning.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in eLearning instructional design.
  • 2+ years project management experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with LMS (Learning Management Systems).
  • 2+ years’ experience with Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline).
  • Excellent written communication skills for effective instructional text.
  • Self-starter, flexible, and able to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
  • Adept at relationship building and receptive to feedback.
  • Programming skills are an asset.
  • Familiarity with other eLearning tools such as Captivate, Camtasia, Lectora, or similar is an asset.
  • Audio/video editing skills are an asset.

This position requires fluency in English, supporting collaboration with English-speaking colleagues and stakeholders.

Salary and Benefits

The expected base salary range for this position is $73,000 to $109,500, potentially including bonuses. Salary is determined based on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
