Job description

POSITION SUMMARY :

We are looking for a talented Instructional Designer who thrives in a creative and collaborative environment. You will be responsible for working with Stakeholders and SMEs to design and develop learning courseware for the Healthcare industry.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Design and develop curriculum eLearning, blended, and ILT programs.
• Develop courses using Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, including animation, narration, and image/video editing.
• Create and maintain eLearning solutions such as infographics, animation videos, audio voiceovers, interactive simulations, and animated learning solutions.
• Build effective relationships with SMEs and project sponsors to meet or exceed business needs and objectives.
• Guide the creation of learning objectives based on needs assessments and define scope and deliverables.
• Liaise with SMEs during content development.
• Consult with internal and external stakeholders to manage project milestones and expectations.
• Develop project timelines and coordinate activities with team members.
• Upload course resources and assets to the LMS, testing functionality and usability.
• Troubleshoot LMS issues and monitor course delivery.
• Assist other team members and departments as needed.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Formal training in Adult Education is required.
• Experience with AI and Storyline for adaptive learning is preferred.
• Knowledge of Articulate 360 is required; familiarity with TinCan (XAPI) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of LMS and eLearning instructional design, such as Workday, is preferred.
• Experience in video editing, 2D/3D animation, and graphic design (Photoshop/Illustrator) is an asset.
• Experience with consulting, project management, and tools like monday.com is an asset.
• Prior healthcare experience is a plus.
• This position is mainly remote, based out of our head office in Markham, Ontario (EST), with travel as needed.
