Job Title : Casual Instructional Assistant

About the Position : The Lethbridge Polytechnic’s Centre for Justice and Human Services is seeking applicants to create an inventory / pool of casual Instructional Assistants who are located in Grande Prairie. The part-time, casual CJHS Instructional Assistant plays a vital role within the Lethbridge Polytechnic Police Cadet program. The main objective is to perform as an actor and assist in the facilitation of simulation and scenario-based experiential learning for student training and assessment. This position reports to the Dean of the Centre for Justice and Human Services.

The Instructional Assistant participates in simulation and scenario-based exercises, memorizes scenario scripts, and provides support, feedback, and encouragement to students. They also assist in evaluating students' performance through feedback and exercise debriefing. Required qualifications include a two-year diploma with experience in acting and / or role-playing, exceptional time management, organizational, planning, communication, and priority-setting skills, flexibility to work independently and in a team environment.
