Position Overview

Custom Decorators, Inc. (CDI) has an opportunity for an experienced custom window treatment Installer. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting complex measurements for products, including shutters, when requested.
2. Scheduling and coordinating installation appointments with customers.
3. Receiving products at your location and verifying their condition upon arrival.
4. Representing CDI and our retail partners professionally.
5. Resolving issues while maintaining excellent customer service.

Required Skills

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Proven measuring skills and experience
• Extensive experience installing Hunter Douglas blinds, shades, and shutters
• Experience installing drapery and other soft treatments
• Ability to leave positive and lasting impressions
• Strong organizational skills
• Basic computer skills: email, printing, scanning, uploading/downloading to websites
• Willingness to obtain liability insurance if not already possessed
• Possession of all applicable state and local licenses
