Installation Consultant

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales by generating opportunities and following through with leads from yards, outside sales team, RBS millwork sales, and other sources.
  • Lead project management, overseeing installations of replacement or new construction projects.
  • Collaborate with installers, both employees and partners, to effectively communicate the project scope.
  • Recommend new partner companies and assist in their vetting process.
  • Maintain positive relationships with partners.
  • Regularly attend the office to discuss current and upcoming projects and resolve issues.
  • Travel within the assigned area for inspections, measurements, specifications, and qualifying leads.
  • Demonstrate products using samples, literature, and online resources, highlighting key features.
  • Provide proposals and follow up with customers regarding product supply and installation.
  • Estimate installation dates considering product knowledge and delivery timelines.
  • Keep detailed records in CRM software.
  • Coordinate with the support team to schedule inspections and installations.
  • Resolve customer issues related to products and installations promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain courteous and friendly interactions with customers to promote RBS core values.
Qualifications

Installation Consultant

To perform this job successfully, candidates should have:

  • HS Diploma and 4-6 years of related experience or trade school with equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of window and door installation processes.
  • Knowledge of Andersen and Marvin products is preferred.
  • Experience with construction, windows, doors, and installation best practices is preferred.

Salary range for RI compliance: $28.00 - $36.00, based on experience and other factors.
