Job summary

Branksome Hall in Toronto, Ontario seeks Supply Teachers for Senior and Middle School for the 2026-27 academic year on an occasional, contract basis. Candidates should align with our IB World School values and demonstrate strong classroom management and SEL practices, with a focus on English, Math, or Individuals and Society.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher and Ontario Teacher Qualifications in the Intermediate or Senior division, with IB experience considered an asset; daily

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution relative to teaching subject.
• Ontario Teacher Qualifications in Intermediate or Senior division with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
• IB teaching experience is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of relevant technology and ability to work in a laptop environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and contribute to a classroom environment that inspires and supports learning and SEL.
• Establish supportive rapport with students and colleagues.
• Motivate students to develop skills and knowledge for further education.
• Deliver differentiated lessons as assigned by the teacher.
• Use relevant technology to support instruction.
• Supervise students during lessons and outside of the classroom as needed.
• Demonstrate a flexible, responsive approach to teaching and learning.
