Job summary

Halifax Water is hiring for an Inspections Coordinator - Engineering Approvals. This regular opportunity, in the Engineering Approvals Team, has full-time hours.

The role leads a service delivery team of Operation Technologists responsible for inspecting and installing Service Connections and appurtenances to Halifax Water Systems. Requires five years in municipal engineering, supervisory experience, CET designation, a Civil Engineering Technology diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressively responsible related experience in the municipal engineering field.
• Direct supervisory experience.
• Post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.
• Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a service delivery team of Operation Technologists for inspecting and installing Service Connections and appurtenances attaching to the Halifax Water Systems.
• Oversee inspection processes and ensure compliant project delivery within the Engineering Approvals Team.

As an Inspections Coordinator - Engineering Approvals, you will:

To do this job, you need to:
