Job summary

• Prepare detailed reports on study results.

Job description

Inspection Technician

Terms:

Permanent, full-time position.

Responsibilities:

1. Program portable arms / trackers to effectively measure different products.
2. Ensure the product passes certification tests or process inspections.
3. Prepare reports to describe studies and develop documents and layouts.
4. Occasional border crossing may be required.
5. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work station for accurate results.
6. Perform project work while adhering to deadlines.
7. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience with CMM, Romer arm, Leica laser trackers is preferred.
2. Knowledge of or experience with Polyworks software is an asset.
3. Experience operating milling machines, surface grinders, drill presses, hand tools, and precision instruments.
4. Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
5. Proficiency in MS Word & Excel.
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
