Job Description

Position Summary :

The Inside Territory Sales Manager actively engages with COD House Accounts to grow sales and build customer loyalty. Responsible for increasing HVAC product sales to small accounts, including commercial customers, and meeting sales targets. This role requires a results-driven individual with a passion for sales.

Position Responsibilities May include:

  • Plan, organize, develop, and grow a profitable base of approximately 50 Inside Sales Key Accounts.
  • Nurture and develop these accounts to a point where they can be graduated to outside Territory Sales Managers.
  • Backfill graduated accounts from the region’s House Account list.
  • Coordinate with ASM to confirm account readiness for graduation and facilitate account transfer.
  • Maintain and improve sales revenue and gross margin.
  • Recruit, train, support, and develop new dealers.
  • Develop proposals for prospective customers.
  • Maintain customer relationships through proactive communication.
  • Manage all aspects of the ISR Key Account customer base.
  • Update customer and sales data in CRM.
  • Collaborate with the corporate office and field sales teams.
  • Gather and provide local market intelligence.
  • Develop annual business plans to meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Handle all sales activities from lead generation to closing.
  • Support additional projects as needed.

  • Work within well-defined instructions and established procedures.
  • Perform tasks under supervision.
  • Work is closely supervised.

Knowledge & Skills :

  • HVAC knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
  • Strong ability to educate and influence partners on HVAC products.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical skills for forecasting sales and results.
  • Proven ability to meet sales quotas.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Self-disciplined, capable of managing a territory remotely.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overnight travel.

Experience :

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
  • HVAC experience preferred.

Education / Certification: High School Diploma or Equivalent
