IS2 Workforce Solutions is looking for an Inside Sales Representative in Edmonton! Does this sound like an opportunity for you? Keep reading.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Enter and facilitate general line and processing sales orders, ensuring accuracy and that tolerances meet the customers’ expectations.
  • Work closely with our CAD/Operations department to ensure accurate order entry.
  • Help grow and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts.
  • Assist in growing and maintaining revenue and profit in accordance with the business plan.
  • Identify and maximize all sales and market opportunities.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by developing trusting rapport with all customers.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and suggest improvements regarding lost business and sales opportunities.
  • Ensure processing sales productivity and accuracy while striving to increase overall gross margin.
  • Contribute to the commitment of accurate and on-time shipments.
  • Communicate continually with the purchasing department to ensure sufficient product availability and address stock outs or shortages.
  • Identify slow-moving items and establish reduction targets.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience and/or customer service.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Steel knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of metal processing equipment (e.g., Plasma, Shear, Rolls).
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, Business Administration, Metallurgy, or Engineering Technology.
  • Knowledge of CAD, blueprints, bill of materials, and geometrical tolerances.
Deal Breakers:
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience and customer service.
  • 2 years of steel/metal knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of CAD, blueprints, bill of materials, and geometrical tolerances.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
