In this role, you will be responsible for the sales of products, systems, and services within a designated market/division, aligned with the division strategy. You will achieve qualitative and quantitative sales targets daily to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will identify and develop new sales opportunities.

Your Role: Own the Challenge

  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery times, payments, and general terms and conditions, aligned with ABB’s offerings and strategy.
  • Ensure effective marketing activities and communicate the value proposition to customers.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities within the designated market.
  • Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support cash collection and project management activities as needed.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Familiarize yourself with ABB solutions and products to respond properly to customer requests.
  • Respond to RFQs for standard and non-standard products that meet technical specifications and customer expectations.
  • Use configuration and sales tools for proper follow-up of RFQs and customer requests.
  • Support sales teams and customers, understanding the distribution network and sales channels.
  • Propose solutions tailored to the needs of different markets covered by ABB’s products.
  • Manage product configuration and proposal software tools.

What it takes to run what runs the world

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales.
  • Fluent in French and English (spoken & written).
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • DEC or DES with relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Office tools, Excel is an asset.
