Job Description

INSIDE SALES / SHIPPER AND RECEIVER

Roofmart is a major Canadian distributor of residential and commercial roofing and siding products, with over 50 locations across Canada.

This role involves being the first point of contact for customers shopping in-store or calling the branch, as well as picking, preparing, and loading purchased products onto the company truck or the customer's truck.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Being the first point of contact for customers in-store or via phone
• Completing sales transactions, daily banking reconciliation, and purchasing
• Picking, preparing, and loading products onto trucks
• Unloading and storing delivered products
• Ensuring safe and efficient movement and storage of products at the facility
• Lifting up to 80 lbs and operating a forklift
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
• Providing excellent customer service and communication

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• College diploma and/or 3+ years of warehouse and forklift experience
• 3+ years of retail, business, accounting, or sales experience
• Valid forklift license (training available)
• Ability to lift, push, and carry 80-100 lbs repeatedly
• Knowledge of the roofing industry is an asset

WORK AUTHORIZATION

• Authorized to work in Canada
