Job Description

INSIDE SALES / SHIPPER AND RECEIVER

Roofmart is a major Canadian distributor of residential and commercial Roofing and Siding products with over 50 locations across the country.

• Customer’s first point of contact when shopping in-store or calling the branch.
• Picking, preparing, and loading purchased products onto the Company truck or customer’s truck.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be the customer’s first point of contact in-store or via phone
• Complete sales transactions and daily banking reconciliation reports
• Pick, prepare, and load products for delivery or customer pickup
• Unload and organize delivered products
• Ensure safe and efficient movement and storage of products
• Lift up to 80 lbs and operate a forklift
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• College diploma and/or 3+ years of Warehouse and Forklift experience
• 3+ years of retail, business, accounting, or sales experience
• Valid Forklift License (training available)
• Ability to lift, push, and carry 80-100 lbs repeatedly
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of roofing industry is an asset
