Job Description

The Sales Representative Outbound I’s primary responsibility is to develop and implement proficient selling skills while demonstrating specific repetitive competencies in the areas of prospecting, growing, developing and maintaining an active assigned customer account base. This includes effectively soliciting future business clients and maximizing sales to existing accounts. The position requires the individual to demonstrate the ability to grow sales while consistently improving the quality and performance of assigned customers.

Responsibilities
  1. Achieves assigned performance goals and objectives by overseeing a finite number of active customers as defined by leadership.
  2. Develops new leads and maximizes current customer potential by utilizing all available resources, including referrals, data mining tools, developing and leveraging relationships, and expanding current knowledge of new product and market developments.
  3. Documents all relevant account activity in the CRM tool or other appropriate areas.
  4. Represents the organization professionally and in accordance with the code of conduct and ethics.
  5. Maintains a positive working relationship with territory development managers, branch operations leadership team, customer support and other internal departments.
  6. Prepares a yearly budget for assigned customer base, including new customer development based on market potential.
  7. Occasional travel is required for this position.
Qualifications

Requirements
  1. Must be available for occasional travel.
  2. Comfortable with using Microsoft Office applications.
  3. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  4. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  5. Eligible to work in the United States.
  6. Extensive automotive parts knowledge, import knowledge is a plus.
  7. At least 1 year of telemarketing or customer service experience.
Ideal Candidates
  1. Comfortable with all aspects of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  2. 1-3 years of related experience.
  3. Extremely organized and demonstrates the ability to prioritize effectively.
  4. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  5. Have excellent multitasking ability and demonstrated self-starter.
  6. Willingness to continue to evolve and develop personal skills to meet the changing environment.
  7. Willing to travel occasionally.
  8. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  9. Bilingual skills preferred.
  10. Order processing knowledge and familiarity with computer catalogs.
  11. Demonstrates a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail.
