Inside Sales Representative (F / T – In person)

TECO-Westinghouse Motors is a leading supplier of Electric Motors and Controls Products, focusing on the manufacture and distribution of industrial electric motors and controls systems. We are currently seeking to fill the following position in either our Cambridge, Ontario or Lachine, Quebec office:

Inside Sales Representative (F / T – In person)

We are looking for a highly organized individual with excellent customer service skills who can take initiative in supporting our account managers by ensuring timely inquiry responses, order processing, and information expediting.

This role requires a high-performing, self-motivated individual committed to excellence, capable of managing time effectively in a busy environment, and skilled at building professional relationships. You will act as a central contact point for clients and account managers, aiming to develop trusted advisor relationships.

Primary Duties :
  • Customer Interaction : Communicate via phone and email to understand client needs, provide product info, and suggest solutions.
  • Sales Generation : Pursue new sales opportunities and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Quotation Management : Prepare and deliver accurate, timely quotations aligned with customer needs and pricing strategies.
  • Order Processing & Fulfillment : Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to shipment, including order confirmation and updates.
  • Inventory & Stock Support : Provide real-time stock quotes, review backorders, and confirm product availability and lead times.
  • Customer Support : Resolve issues efficiently, provide freight quotes, and update shipping addresses.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with sales, engineering, operations, procurement, and other departments for smooth project execution.
  • CRM & ERP System Use : Maintain accurate records in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SAP ERP systems.
  • Follow-Up & Reporting : Follow up on quotes and requests, generate internal reports on key metrics.
  • Market Knowledge : Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
Required Skills / Education :
  • Minimum 2 years of inside sales, customer service, or related experience in motors, controls, or industrial products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sales-oriented with target achievement focus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP and CRM (SAP/MS Dynamics) preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Problem-solving skills and initiative.
  • Experience with Electric Motors and Controls is a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset.

The ideal candidate is motivated, a team player, and eager to succeed. Experience in industrial sales or a related educational background is preferred.

Position Details :

Type : Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, In person

Locations : Cambridge, Ontario or Lachine, Quebec

Start Date : Immediately

Compensation : Competitive salary, benefits, wellness plan, performance bonus, RRSP contributions, and a team environment.

Reporting to the Stock Product Group Manager in Edmonton, Alberta.
