We are seeking a motivated and personable Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic inside sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with a mature customer base and providing tailored solutions to drive customer satisfaction and sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for the automotive industry to help effectively promote our products and services.

Duties

  • Receive calls as well as Conduct outbound calls providing follow-up communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and customer service.
  • Provide product demonstrations and technical support to clients as needed.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify potential sales opportunities.

Skills

  • Preferred : Proven experience in sales or telemarketing.
  • Preferred : Relevant experience in the automotive sector.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service while addressing client inquiries and concerns.
  • Knowledge of technical sales processes and business development strategies is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities and anticipating outcomes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Other additional duties may be assigned by the company.
  • Coordinate wholesale, retail, end user and sales team related queries.
  • Handle inquiries regarding customer stock checks, backorders fulfilment, shipments and invoices.
  • Collaborate with outside sales team on various matters including order status, product status, incoming / outgoing shipments, sales campaign qualifications, consumer relation calls and product pricing.
  • Coordinate product shipments with customers and our logistics team, schedule delivery appointments and prepare related documentation.
  • Provide sales support to Regional Sales Managers and Sales Directors.
  • Report back orders to Inside Sales Supervisor when required.
  • Release current, back orders, and future shipments.
  • Request stock transfer from another Distribution Centre, as needed, for back-order completion.
  • Distribute copy of booking to Regional Sales Managers and Distribution Centre Managers.
  • Enter Return Goods Authorizations in system.
  • Correct invoicing disputes.
  • Help customers with B2B issues.
  • Provide technical tire fitment recommendations based on industry standards.
  • Provide accurate information to customers on correct fitment and applications of Toyo product.
  • Work closely with Warehouse and Logistic teams.
  • Act as back-up for Logistics Coordinator.
  • Assist with inventory counts.

  • Asset : Tire Business knowledge.
  • Asset : Passenger and light truck tire product knowledge.
  • Ability to follow Company policies and guidelines.
  • Fully bilingual (English and French).

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.Ability to write correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to internal and external customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
