Position Summary


Are you a detail-driven professional who thrives on solving problems, supporting customers, and working as part of a high-performing team? West Fraser Electro Mechanical is looking for a Inside Sales Representative to join our growing sales department.
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers—providing timely, accurate quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with our production team to keep projects moving. You'll use your technical knowledge and strong communication skills to understand customer needs, recommend solutions, and ensure a seamless experience from inquiry to delivery.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values accuracy and urgency, and understands that great customer service is about more than answering questions—it’s about building trust. What You Will Be Responsible For:


  • Serving as a key point of contact for customers—responding to inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth, professional experience every time

  • Handling incoming RFQs (Requests for Quote) with accuracy, urgency, and attention to detail

  • Sourcing products, pricing, and delivery options from approved vendors to support customer needs

  • Coordinating logistics, tracking shipments, and following up on orders to ensure timely delivery

  • Maintaining accurate and organized customer files and inventory records

  • Managing the opening and closing of the Sales shipping/receiving area and supporting warehouse organization



  • Overseeing shipping and receiving for both inventory and sales orders

  • Collaborating closely with the Sales Manager and Key Account Managers to support team objectives and maintain strong internal communication

  • Maintaining min/max inventory levels and flagging discrepancies or supply issues proactively

  • Promoting a professional, positive image of West Fraser Electro Mechanical in every customer and vendor interaction.


What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in technical inside sales or customer service—ideally in an industrial, manufacturing, or B2B environment

  • A solution-focused mindset with the ability to understand customer needs and deliver accurate, timely responses

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when it comes to quoting, logistics, and inventory tracking

  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional approach to working with customers, vendors, and internal teams

  • Experience using CRM systems, quoting tools, and order management software to stay organized and responsive

  • A collaborative team player who takes initiative and contributes to a fast-paced, customer-first environment

  • A passion for problem-solving, continuous improvement, and doing things right the first time

  • Willingness to occasionally travel for training or customer site support, if required



What we will give you:



  • $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
