Dura-Line LLC. is seeking to hire an Inside Sales Representative to support our sales team nationally. In this remote position, you will be responsible for business growth and managing an assigned territory or select customers within this territory. You will represent Dura-Line LLC., through interactions with customers by phone or electronically to increase sales of our business. This a remote position working virtually Monday-Friday as a full-time employee based in Ontario, Canada.

As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) , you will work as a member of the national sales team and report to the Director of Sales. You must be a strong team player, supporting Territory Sales Managers and other teammates. You will need to be adaptable and able to handle multiple tasks. You must display teamwork by maintaining a positive attitude while working in a large, open environment; maintain positive relationships with customers and outside salespersons; demonstrate flexibility.

In this role, you will need to be able to maintain strong relationships through partnership and engagement at all levels of the business. You must have a solid technical background which will be the foundation of your success. You should be business focused, motivated by selling high-value products. You will have the freedom to manage the territories and clients as you choose to and strategically play through their strength to accomplish the same goal. In this role, you must be able to drive it as your 'own business’ . There will be a large volume of calls and emails, and you must be comfortable picking up the phone first. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, driven, very competitive and have a high work ethic.

What else is needed to be successful in this role?

This role is an entry-level position and requires you to have a bachelor’s degree and experience in a technical field, preferably inengineering, sales, marketing, and business. This job requires 1-3 years oftechnical sales experience and business development (based on territory and skill gaps within the team). This role requires that you have strong analytical thinking, a high level of problem-solving, attention todetail, planning / organizational and process improvement skills

What are the duties and responsibilities?

  • Responsible for promoting and growing business with existing or assigned accounts within the territory
  • Responsible for meeting financial metrics assigned to measure performance
  • Proactively engage with prospective customers and develop key contacts
  • Attending occasional industry meetings / shows being able to represent the company in a professional manner
  • Provide on-time ship reports to customers as requested – identify obstacles and review for improvement
  • Develop promotional programs / educational documents for electronic distribution
  • Technically competent and capable of proposing products or solutions to help solve customer problems
  • Providing feedback to the forecast for assigned area of responsibility
  • Work with customer service, sales, and business analyst
  • Some Analytics duties like research, report, and data gathering, small order quantity or small quote opportunity
  • On time shipping, driving the opportunity under $50,000. Calling the customer, following up on the quote and opportunity from the sales manager
  • Must be able to multi-task and move efficiently from one task to another
  • Display teamwork by maintaining a positive attitude while working in a large, open environment; maintain positive relationships with customers and outside salespersons; demonstrate flexibility
  • Collaborates with customer service on pricing and preparation of quotes
  • Elevate key issues to plant managers, schedulers and shippers when necessary

    The compensation for this position will typically range from $58,000-$85,000. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge / skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
