Job description

We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our WPS Canada team, based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This full-time position offers an opportunity for a self-motivated, hardworking individual to make an immediate impact by performing sales and marketing tasks that generate sales opportunities with prospective new accounts and support customer retention and care programs. The role provides exposure to customer service, marketing, and sales in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you will do

  • Participate in customer outreach programs to inform customers about WPS technology innovations, promote parts, supplies, and service contracts, and gather feedback on customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and prospecting within target segments.
  • Assist in developing advertising materials, promotional campaigns, public relations, website content, and SEO strategies.
  • Support the development and execution of a B2B social media marketing program.
  • Help prepare marketing plans for industry trade organizations, including identifying opportunities to exhibit and attend conferences and trade shows.
  • Assist the sales team with proposal packages, responses to RFPs and tenders, and quotation submissions.

What we are looking for

Essential Qualifications:

  • Effective and persuasive communicator in both oral and written English.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong presentation skills for one-on-one and group settings.
  • Minimum university undergraduate degree or college diploma.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with website development tools and social media platforms, especially LinkedIn.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of B2B inside sales experience related to enterprise software in large network environments.
  • Digital marketing certification.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Experience in parking access, revenue control, security, or building systems industries.
  • Experience with website content management and social media campaigns, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce.
