Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding and identifying leads through a variety of sources. Once leads are identified, this candidate will reach out and meet with the business decision-makers to better understand their business needs and how our product could help them.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify and qualify new customers
  2. Prospect new customers through lead generation, tradeshows, follow-up, and cold calling
  3. Identify the correct decision-makers within a given business
  4. Document all pertinent customer information and conversations in the CRM system

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  2. 2+ years' experience
  3. Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM

What will you do in this role?

  1. Understand client HR Data Workflows and needs
  2. Sell data integrations solutions to HR professionals who want to streamline their department’s workflow
  3. 80% of your job: Qualify and sell to the high volume of inbound integration leads coming daily to Flexspring
  4. Segment opportunities between smaller and larger integration deals
  5. Close integration deals with small and midsize businesses
  6. Support a National Sales Director in closing large, enterprise integration deals
  7. 20% of your job: Build a pipeline of prospects by reaching out to HR departments via LinkedIn, email, and phone calls to inform HR and IT professionals about our data integrations solutions
  8. Fill in Statement of Work contracts to document what integrations are being sold to clients
  9. Record details about client interactions in Salesforce

Essential Skills and Experience

  1. A college degree or relevant business experience
  2. 2 years' experience in business development, lead generation, or sales—ideally with a SaaS or technology company
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  4. Confident presenting over Zoom
  5. Enjoy connecting and talking over the phone with decision-makers
  6. Actively listen to identify a business’s integration pain point
  7. Possess a high level of initiative and responsibility for self-reliant action
  8. Ability to learn from an experienced colleague who will guide you towards success

Nice to have

  1. HR business process knowledge from selling software or technology to HR departments
  2. Comfortable explaining complex technology in simple ways to non-technical HR professionals
